If you happen to drive by the Y101 Radio studio tomorrow and see a few police cars in the lot don't worry as a "Coffee with a Cop" event will be held tomorrow morning next door at the Coach House Restaurant. The event runs from 7:30 a.m.to 9:30 a.m.
Demolition crews began working yesterday to demolish the old Daylight Donuts building at 24th and Broadway and have roped off the adjacent building which used to house The Associated Bank. This coupled with the removal of a building directly east of the Coach House Restaurant is certainly making 24th and Broadway begin to take on another look.
The plans for additional parking for the Coach House Restaurant have reached the paving stage as cement trucks have been pouring cement all morning long. The additional parking lot is directly east of the restaurant.
What's happening next to the Coach House Restaurant at 24th and Broadway in Quincy? If you have driven in the alley behind the Y101 Radio Studios between Broadway and Spring Streets you probably have noticed the demolition of a building just east of the Coach House.

As a followup to our St. Patrick's Parade Saturday, someone turned in a medical bracelet that was found along the parade route (see picture). If you have lost your green medical bracelet it is available for pickup at the Y101 studios behind the Coach House Restaurant at 24th and Broadway anytime from 7 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday...
