February 13, 2013 Don't look now, but Culver-Stockton College is back in the top 25 listing for the NAIA Division 1 National Basketball Poll this week. Culver cracked the top 25 earlier this year but a 3 game losing streak dropped them out of the top 25 for a while. A recent 6 game winning streak catapulted them back into the poll this week at number 23, tied with Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma.
November 30, 2012 Canton’s Third Annual Parade of Lights is December 6th at 6 pm but the fun starts at 5pm with a short movie for the kids—“Shrek the Halls,” at the Lewis Street Playhouse.
September 21, 2012 The Canton Levee walk opens with a ribbon cutting September 29 at 11am at Front and Lewis Streets.
August 3, 2012 The Lewis County Sheriff's office has notified us of a scam involving 3 individuals driving a red pickup truck with Missouri plates in the Canton, Missouri area.
