The District has announced the lineup and dates for this year's Blues in the District concerts. The first Blues in the District concert is set for June 12 with Harper and Midwest Kind performing. This summer there will only be six concerts, with two events in June, July and August, and, for the first time that I can recall, none in September. Saturday, I ventured out for dinner and struck up a conversation from some people from Arkansas, Indiana and Florida. Just by chance these occurrences all took place. It almost felt like I was around more "outsiders" than "locals."  It got me to thinking about just how mobile our society is.
