I was driving down Broadway in Quincy this morning when I noticed an Adams County Ambulance bearing down on me from behind.  So I pulled over to

allow the ambulance to go past me unabated to it's destination. At least I thought it was unabated until I looked up at my rear view mirror to see cars still moving in their lanes behind me.  It's hard for me to understand why people wouldn't stop or pull over.  I see this all the time and I wonder if these people had called the ambulance if they would like it if people slowed down the ambulance's progress by not pulling over. The trained professionals can only do their job if they get there safely. Every time they get called they are at risk of getting into an accident.  Dodging moving vehicles is something they do NOT need to experience.
