Kudos to the Quincy Police Department for their investigative work in making an arrest in the case involving multiple burglaries at the Quincy Amtrak Train Station.

Police arrested 25 year old Nathan L. Richeson Tuesday for the incident involving 17 vehicles at the train station and 5 vehicles at Selby Implement Company on Wisman Lane.  Usually a crime involves one or two families but this one affected multiple families in the area.   It was a crime that even fired up Quincy Mayor John Spring who was quoted in an article written by Matt Hopf in Tuesday's Quincy Herald Whig  as saying "They (meaning the suspect/s) better hope the police find them before me".  No pressure on the Q.P.D. after that comment.

I am really glad the police found their suspect first. I know Mayor Spring and I would rather he continue his mayoral duties on a day to day basis rather than take the time to become a cub investigator. I didn't realize the Mayor carried a big stick. Better not j-walk in front of City Hall.
