Christmas seems to be the time of year when people decide they want to get a puppy.  If you are one who is thinking the same you might want to consider the following.

Dogs are wonderful companions but make sure you get the breed that fits your lifestyle. Some dogs are ok with time being alone and others are not. Ask questions as well like are shelter dogs  different from dogs available from professional dog breeders? Are certain dogs more suited for family lifestyle or would they be better with a single person around them?

Christmas puppies are great but remember they do grow up and you will need to remember that they need to be cared for for years to come.
