Illinois State Police Issue Road Safety Warnings For Holiday Travel

It is that time of year when we get ready to get in the car and see the relatives. We here at Y101 radio, and The Illinois State Police, are gearing up for the holiday season.

The ISP is gearing up on the roads and we at Y101 are gearing up to get you to your destination safely by keeping up with traffic and weather conditions. We will do our best to keep you updated on those highway conditions on the four lanes and the back roads as well.

Our friends on the police side of things, Trooper Mike Kindhart of the Illinois State Police and Sgt. Brent Bernhardt of the Missouri State Highway Patrol keep all of us informed of any weather conditions that might occur in Northeast Missouri and West central Illinois.

So as you go on your holiday travels, please keep in mind the precious cargo that are in the car with you and please don't drink and drive at anytime while you are driving.
