Free Summer Reading Events in Quincy

With summer time finally here, moms, dads and kids can finally get together for some fun. The Quincy Public Library offers fun and free programs during the summer months. It is a great resource for kids looking for something to do

The library also has events like movies for adults, teens and children; crafts for kids and teens; and special events for everyone. You will need to make a reservation for these activities. Reservations may be made online.

Many generous donors in the Quincy area give exciting prizes in the summertime. For the teens, they can enter to win weekly drawings for prizes which include movie tickets, pizza, headphones, iTunes gift cards and much more.

Each time a child or a teen returns a completed book log from the Library, they will be able to enter a drawing for one of four Trex bikes. The bikes will be on display in the library begining May 31.
