Citizen Police Academy Class

The Quincy Police Department is currently taking applications for the spring 2013 Citizen Police Academy class. This class, which is 10 weeks in length, begins on Thursday, February 28, 2013. The class time is 6:00-9:00 p.m. and most classes are held at Quincy City Hall. There is NO charge to attend. During this class, participants will not only learn about all aspects of the Quincy Police Department, but will also have an opportunity to participate hands on activities.  To be eligible for the course, applicants must live in Quincy, work in Quincy, or own property in Quincy.  Applicants must also be at least 18 years of age.
