- A Northeast Missouri politician who used powerful words to paint pragmatic portraits of a changing America and sculpted a campaign that almost landed him in the White House will be part of the 50 Miles of Art Fall Studio and Gallery Tour.  Bowling Green legislator, lawyer, educator and newspaper editor Champ Clark will come to life in the two-act play “Almost President,” which is sponsored by the Hannibal Arts Council.  The one-hour production will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main in Hannibal. There is no admission charge, but donations will be accepted.
