Alzheimer’s Association Cookout

The Quincy Branch is hosting a cookout from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24 at The Butcher Block, 819 Maine St., Quincy, to benefit the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Alzheimer’s Association will deliver hot, delicious pork chop or chicken sandwiches right to your workplace. The menu features bacon cheddar burgers, pulled BBQ pork or chicken sandwiches (all $5), beer cheddar brats ($3), ribeye sandwiches ($6), hot dogs ($2), potato chips ($1), bottled water and soda ($2). All orders are available for dine in, carryout or delivery. Walk ins are welcome. Proceeds will benefit the 16th annual Quincy Walk to End Alzheimer’s, which will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6 at Clat Adams Park.
