Missouri Department of Transportation bridge crews will be performing a routine inspection and preventative maintenance on the Champ Clark Bridge over the Mississippi River on U.S. 54 at Louisiana from Aug. 20 to Aug. 30.

MoDot crews will be working on the bridge from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day during the inspection and maintenance. Motorists should expect delays.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane during the day while the inspection is completed. There will be a 10-foot width restriction on the bridge while crews are present. Motorists are asked to use extra caution when traveling through the work zone.
