Taylor Swift is set to connect directly with fans and make a big announcement on Monday, Aug. 13 at 7PM ET via a live webcast on her official YouTube channel. Swift revealed the news of the chat via an online teaser video and a press release today (Aug. 7.)

Rumors of Jennifer Lopez supposedly leaving ‘American Idol‘ flooded every kind of news wave imaginable. Yet Aerosmith frontman and ‘Idol’ judge Steven Tyler was the first to announce his exit from the reality show competition. And, as we all know now, Lopez followed suit soon after and confirmed her departure from the show.
Money talks, and while Mariah Carey hasn’t commented on the ‘American Idol‘ rumors, her doting hubby sure has. Nick Cannon flat out said that Mimi doesn’t come for cheap.
