The St. Patrick's Parade set for a week from tomorrow (March 14) in Quincy. It will be the 29th year for the parade and over the years I have tried to come up with different things to wear. It is time to sign up for the upcoming 29th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade to be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. The parade will start at 12th and Maine Streets and proceed to 5th and Maine Streets and is open to all businesses, organizations and individuals free of charge.

Mother Nature wasn't nice this morning for the Kelly's Fun Run/Walk for the Quincy YWCA as snowy and windy conditions prevailed. Despite those elements, a great turnout made the trek through the streets of Quincy Sunday morning. Once Kevin Reed fired off the cannon hundreds of runners and walkers took off.

The 28th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is in the books. Many thanks to everyone for being in the parade and coming down to watch it as we finally "Ushered in Spring".  With over 100 entries, this year's parade was the biggest ever surpassing the previous record of 94 entries.

Ok, we will all be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this weekend as well as on Monday, the actual St. Patrick’s Day. Some will celebrate St. patrick's weekend in Quincy's parade tomorrow, some in the Historic Quincy Business District's Pub Crawl tomorrow night, and some in the Kelly's Fun  Run for the Quincy YWCA on Sunday in Quincy. Remember you must have something green on you or your entry (Balloons, ribbons, etc.). The parade is March 15 at 11 a.m. sharp and we go from 12th to 5th on Maine Street in Quincy.
