Snickers or Candy Korn?
It haunts me every Halloween. Do I eat the Snickers little bars or the candy korn?

A new event came to Hannibal this past weekend. If you were at the Autumn Historic Folklife Festival on Saturday afternoon, and noticed a lot of people dressed...unusually, they were probably part of the Hannibal Jaycee's first ever Zombie Run 5K!
Tales of some of the greatest American hauntings emerge this time every year that serve as a darkened overtone to the season of the witch and All Hallows Eve. Frightening stories from the eccentric lunacies of William Winchester’s widow to the infamous Lizzie Borden murders all come to mind when one thinks of the scarier places in the country.
But where exactly are the most haunted houses in America?
A few weeks back, a tiny baby burrito kicked off our craving for kids dressed in food costumes. (Not for actual baby. We're not zombies or anything.) It’s such a simple concept, yet it yields such hilarious results. Talk about Halloween genius at its finest. Luckily, we can continue laughing and aww-ing over miniature tasty attire, thanks to the ‘Babies in Food Costumes’ Tumblr.
You GUYS! It's almost Halloween! We sincerely love Halloween around here, in case you hadn't noticed. Here's one way we've been getting into the spirit of the season -- awesome Halloween light shows. Some of them are more traditional ('The Haunted Manion,' 'Monster Mash'), whereas other are scary in a more timely way -- what could be more terrifying than a giant light-up neon pumpkin singing 'Call Me Maybe'?
Halloween is more steeped in tradition than just about any other holiday, and the roots of those traditions are as varied and seemingly unconnected as a pumpkin and a bonfire.
We decided to take a look at a few of Halloween's most well-known customs. What do they all mean? Why do we celebrate Halloween by putting on bizarre outfits and asking strangers for candy? Who is Stingy Jack, and why does he haunt our dreams?
Halloween fun. You can find it at Camp Oko Tipi this Saturday, October 27.
Halloween is almost here! We've been asking our listeners to submit pictures of their best Halloween decorations for an online gallery we're putting together. Check out the pictures we've received so far!
Few cult films have been able to define the term as clearly as 1975's Halloween classic ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show.’ Decades after its release, toilet-paper toting fans still show up week after week at midnight screenings across the globe dressed in fishnet stockings and full makeup. They not only watch the same movie they’ve seen hundreds of times, they also act it out and throw props at the screen. The only way it could be more of a cult is if some kind of live goat sacrifice was involved.
