A Wall of Water at the Lake of the Ozarks

If you have ever been to the Lake of the Ozarks, then you know how massive it is.

We went the the lake this past weekend looking for some nice weather. But that did not happen until the last day. It was cold out there on the lake. We were there for five days, and all the while it was raining, until the very last day.

The lake is such a massive place that you need to respect it. Which we found out about as we went to see some of the houses on the lake. It turned out to be very cloudy and windy that day. That was a mistake, because as soon as we got into the boat and headed out from the cove we could see the dark clouds in the sky. Then you could see the dark clouds forming behind us and a massive wall of water coming our way. Nothing but rain.

The Lake of the Ozarks is so big that you can see bad weather coming fast. We were getting gas in the boat and we could see the wall of rain coming at us. We got the gas and went straight to the docks. By that time the rain was coming down so fast. And it was a cold rain, and very scary. We just made it to the docks and it just let loose. I have never been on the water when the rain was like that. Kind of spooky as it got dark. We were shaking we were so cold.

I had never had seen a wall of water coming at us like that before. I'll never forget it.
