Youth Can See What it is Like to Go Hunting

Youth in the area can experience hunting for the first time.

The Access Illinois Outdoors program is hosting a program to allow youth to experience a deer hunt. They can be placed with a landowner before buying a hunting permit for the October 6 thru 7 youth season. All participating youth must have completed an Illinois Department of Natural Resources approved hunter education course and must have a current, valid youth der permit and have a hunting license or apprentice hunter license. More information is available by calling Two Rivers RC&D at 217-285-2464.
