The Quincy Salvation Army will serve a free Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Salvation Army Kroc Center located at 405 Vermont Street. The community is invited to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner complete with turkey and all the trimmings. Music will be provided by The Salvation Army Praise Band.

“Volunteer help is appreciated, but it is important to call The Kroc Center at 217-231-5626 to schedule your time this day so that all who want to help have an opportunity,” says Major Andrew Miller.

Desserts are needed for the dinner. Please bring dishes for the meal in disposable containers. Everyone wishing to donate a dessert for the Thanksgiving dinner is asked to bring them to The Kroc Center on Wednesday or before 10 a.m. Thursday, November 23.

For those needing a ride, transportation will be provided to The Kroc Center. Meals will also be delivered to shut-ins.
