Every September the Quincy Exchange Club displays the Field of Honor.  The display of 1,000 American Flags is set up in September 11 and there is no cost to view the display.

Thousands have seen the display over the past two years at several different locations, but few people are aware that the Field of Honor is complemented by four other days out of the year when the Exchange Club conducts its Flags of Honor program.

The Quincy Exchange Club is looking for people living in the city limits of Quincy interested in having one of those 1000 American Flags placed on their property during each of four holidays during the year.

Subscribers throughout the city will have a flag placed in their yard after sunrise by the Quincy Senior High School Football Team and removed just before sunset.  For only $30, the American Flag will be placed in the subscriber’s yard on Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July and Labor Day.

A portion of the proceeds goes to the QHS Football program and the remaining money raised by the Exchange Club, as always, stays in the community to help the Exchange Club’s various local projects throughout the year.  Now is the time to sign up for the Flags of Honor program. To sign up for one of the Flags of Honor flags to be placed on your property during the year, go to www.quincyexchangeclub.org.
