It is almost that time of year, a time when the family and friends pile into the family car and drive through the incredible Avenue of Lights.  Beginning Thanksgiving night, November 28, and running through January 1, the  Avenue of Lights will take over the Wavering/Moorman Park complex with more than 350 separate pieces and over 15 miles of lights.

Workers are currently preparing the displays in preparation of this year's opening night. at the park located on North 36th Street in Quincy. Winding through the park you’ll see amazing displays of lights set in fun, visually stunning arrangements. The Quincy Chamber of Commerce handles the Avenue of Lights and everyone who works at the Avenue of Lights is a volunteer, and all the displays were donated by local businesses and organizations, and from entrance fees.

Admission is just $9 per vehicle. Unfortunately, vans over 15 passengers are not allowed, to avoid damage to the park’s roads.
