Winter Pickleball Tournament at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center

Hannibal is the place to be Saturday, January 23 for some indoor fun.

Pickleball has been a staple around here for years and you can be a part of it beginning this Saturday. Hannibal Parks and Recreation's pickleball leagues began in December of 2014 and has been very successful, with up to 24 teams per league. It is a sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It is played on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net with a paddle and a plastic ball similar to a wiffle ball. The next league begins on March 21.
