What businesses/restaurants would you like to come to the Quincy Mall?

April 4th, 2015 is when JC Penney’s left the Quincy Mall and the building has been vacant ever since. There have been businesses interested in the building, but so far no one has moved in. The mall also has two vacant restaurants that use to hold Krieger’s which left in 2013 and T.G.I Friday’s which left in 2015.

What would you like to see in the vacant JC Penney? A Barnes and Noble Bookstore? Macy’s? Books-A-Million? I wonder if the levels in the JC Penney building could be made separate and then make two stores with one on the upper level and the other on the bottom. It would be great to see an Express, Disney Store, Champs, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Forever 21 or Sephora.

There are also a ton of possibilities that could take the empty restaurants. What would you like to see come to the mall? How about Cheesecake Factory, Olive Garden, P.F. Chang’s, Red Robin, 5 Guys?

The options really are endless. So what’s stopping these businesses from coming? A lot has to do with the franchising and of course, like everything, money. I leave it to you now. Out of all of these what would you like to see come to the Quincy Mall?
