What Are Some of Your Favorite Major Events?

In years past there were selected weekends when there were two or three large events taking place and some weekends would be considered boring with nothing to do. Well, times have changed.   Every weekend seems to be "booked". It seems like there are 4 or 5 large events happening every weekend in the Hannibal-Quincy area and that doesn't even count the major events that take place throughout the year. I got to thinking about what my personal top five list would be regarding my favorite events? Here is what I came up with.

5.     Down by The River

4.     Veteran's Parade

3.     Quincy Gems Baseball

2.     Blues in The District

1.     St. Patrick's Parade (This should come as no surprise!)
