Water Patrol Officers Investigate Two Incidents on Mark Twain Lake
Missouri Highway Patrol Water Patrol Division officers report two incidents Sunday afternoon on Mark Twain Lake.
The first incident occurred on the North Fork Arm of Mark Twain Lake at 1 p.m. Sunday. Officers say 31-year-old Pamela Kovar of Ashland, Missouri was thrown from an inner tube being towed on the lake by 31-year-old Bryan Kovar of Ashland. The incident report indicates Pamela Kovar was taken by Monroe City Ambulance to Moberly Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
A large wave is the cause of a collision late Sunday afternoon on Mark Twain Lake. The patrol says the two watercraft were operated by 16-year-old juveniles near Spalding Beach when the collision occurred at 4:15 p.m. No injury information is available from the patrol on that incident.
