A local news story is beginning to get national attention. Tuesday night, Quincy Police Chief Rob Copley appeared on the Fox News program 'On the Record With Greta Van Susteren' to discuss the alleged murder of Cory Lovelace, and the arrest of former prosecutor Curtis Lovelace years after his wife's death.

In the Fox News interview, Copley said that a "fresh set of eyes" by a new detective, and a review of Cory Lovelace's original autopsy by "several experts" led to the arrest of Curtis Lovelace.

Lovelace was taken into custody on August 27 and indicted with first-degree murder. He is currently being held on $5,000,000 bond. His trial is set to begin in January.
