During the month of November, make a point to go out to the Illinois Veteran's Home in Quincy and check out the Veteran's art displays that will be set up for viewing.
Arts Quincy, Quincy Art Center and the Illinois Veterans Home are inviting area veterans and civilians to submit artwork in the upcoming Veterans Day Art Show that will be on display this November! Entries are free to participants who created pieces this year in the watercolor, clay or printmaking classes of Made In America: Veterans Art Program.

The show is also open to any artist from the region who has served in the military or civilians who have done a patriotic work. Artists may submit up to three works in any medium. All works must be original and have been completed within the last three years.

Entries may be dropped off at the Arts Quincy office any time before this Friday, Nov. 2. The public is also invited to a special Veterans Day service at 10 am on Sunday, November 11 at Lippencott Hall at the Illinois Veterans Home.
