Consider this a public service announcement that should have never had to have been made: Never climb onto the roof of a moving automobile to twerk.

Case in point. Two very not smart passengers cruising down 64 decided that twerking on the roof of their GMC was a fine idea during the Monday evening rush. Sure. What could go wrong?

The duo of mobile twerkers surely turned some heads and video of the incident has since gone viral (congratulations, you’re internet famous). Unfortunately, according to ksdk.com, more phones were used to capture the show on video than to…you know…call the police. A spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department offered the following statement (in case you’re still on the fence about this whole moving-vehicle-roof-twerking concept):

“They could fall off of the car and cause other drivers to wreck. It’s a dangerous situation for themselves and other drivers! They could fall off and create a fatal accident. We do not encourage anyone to try anything like this ever. You are supposed to be in your car when you drive.”

Solid advice, St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson.

Other things you should not do on the roofs of moving vehicles: gardening, yoga, scrapbooking, playing the oboe, welding, playing Scrabble, texting, eating tacos, shaving, coupon clipping, needlepoint, weightlifting, origami…you know what, this list might be getting a little long. Don't climb on the roof of moving vehicles. Ever. Full stop.

Anyway, let's get to why you're really here. Check out the full video below and immediately facepalm yourself into oblivion. Enjoy!
