I'm mostly a movie and music guy, but TV is my third love (well... fourth if my girlfriend is reading this. She's obviously #1). I love the stories being told, especially the exponential rise in quality TV over the past decade and a half. And because I get so engrossed in those stories, it's nice to have a part of them as a keepsake. I have a wide collection of pop culture trinkets, but I'm always looking for more to add to the collection.

Enter, stage left, the Washington Theater's TV Poster & Memorabilia sale, going on October 13th! For the price of just one non-perishable food item to be donated to the Fall Harvest Food Drive, you could own a bit of TV history, whether its from a current show, or one of your all-time favorite shows. They'll even have some collectors items. We're still about two and a half weeks out, so plenty of time to figure out if you want Cheers barware* or a Greys Anatomy stethoscope or just that cool poster of House M.D. where he's taking off his glove, and it looks like he's giving the middle finger because of how he's pulling it. (NOTE: I have no idea if any of those items will be there and for sale. Those are just used for example. This in no way should suggest those exact items will appear at the sale.)

All proceeds from the event benefit both the Blessed Sacrament School and the Washington Theater. The event runs the morning of the 13th, so there will still be plenty of time to hit that, then swing over to Oktoberfest. To stay up-to-date on the sale, follow the Facebook Event Page.
