Those Black Snow Piles Sure Make You Wonder About the Air We Breathe

I am really looking forward to that spring day when the temperature is warm and the sun is high in the sky. You know, the kind of day when you want to just walk outside and take a deep breath of clean fresh air. Do you ever wonder just how clean and fresh that air is?

You have to wonder just what is in the air we breathe especially when you look at what was once a pristine snow pile and now looks like the one in the picture above. Just how did that pile of snow get to look like that?

It just tells you that the clear blue sky up there is full of all kinds of things and those things are showing up on these snow piles lately. It also shows the kind of air we are unknowingly breathing. Those piles of snow just don't turn black without black sediment in the air falling upon it. Makes you wonder!
