From the category of “Only in America” comes the story about a vending machine that dispenses of all things “Snow Balls”.

A company by the name of Space 150 utilized the opportunity to reach thousands of visitors to Minneapolis for the recently played Super Bowl to unveil vending machines that would actually sell Minnesota made snowballs.

They even say that each snow ball made was “hand-packed by real Minnesotans” and the packaging offers that you purchase one and take it home and throw it at a friend. It even has a date of the snow ball’s actual creation.

The vending machine can hold up to 500 snow balls, all of which are placed in a canister.  I am sure you are wondering just what will this snow ball cost? The answer is $1 with all proceeds going to Wilderness Inquiry, a Minnesota-based nonprofit that helps kids from urban areas explore the great outdoors.
