The house was featured prominently as the home of Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike in the 2014 blockbuster “Gone Girl”. Even the most eagle-eyed movie watcher might not recognize the interior photos as only the exterior of the home was used in the movie.

Though the movie takes place in the fictional Missouri town of “North Carthage”, much of it was shot in or near Cape Girardeau. While town might be fictitious, the media outlets featured in the movie are very real. In fact, if you look closely, you might notice vehicles belonging to both KHQA and WGEM.
