For eager Redbird baseball fans in our area, the Cardinals Caravan is our first annual taste of Major League Baseball. A few weeks back we broke the news that the Caravan would be coming to Quincy yet again, and we finally know who’ll be on it!

Caravan #5 will be making its final stop at Quincy University’s Pepsi Arena on January 21 at 5:00 pm following weekend stops in Mattoon, Springfield, and Decatur. And this year’s lineup includes Cardinals shortstop Paul Dejong as well as minor leaguers Drew Robinson, Ryan Helsley, and Justin Williams. Also joining the fun will be former Cardinals Ryan Franklin and Kerry Robinson. Cardinals broadcaster Dan McLaughlin will be handling this year’s emcee duties.

This is a free opportunity for baseball fans to ask questions of current and former players and learn a little more about what’s in store for the 2019 season. In addition, fans 15 and under can get free autographs from the players. 400 autograph tickets will be distributed on a first come first serve basis, so arrive early to get yours.
