There Are Plenty of Free Concerts This Week

If you love free outdoor concerts the next few days should be right up you alley. This Thursday there is free music to enjoy in Quincy, Hannibal and Canton with the Quincy Park District's Music in the Park, Hannibal's  Music Under the Stars Series and Canton's Summer Concert Series continuing.  Raised on Radio will play from 7 to 8:30 Thursday at Washington Park. Music Under the Stars will have Abby Road Warriors performing Thursday on Hill Street in Hannibal starting at 7 pm.

Friday from 11:30 to 1 p.m. you can enjoy your lunch while listening to Steve Rees perform at Washington Park as part of the Noon Blues series. Then on Friday night the Matt Roberts Blues Band will be on the stage in Washington Park Quincy from 5:30-9:30 pm for Blues in the District.

Also in Canton, Missouri there will be two bands playing as part of their free Summer Concert Series. Stumptown will be performing country and rock from 6-9 p.m. followed by Madd Hoss Jackson from 9:00 to midnight.

So, grab your lawn chair or blanket, some cool drinks and enjoy this free music for all ages!
