The announcement came today that the turkey run will take place in 2020, but it will be virtually. In a press release sent outby the Quincy Family YMCA, the run will be a virtual event to keep all participates safe by using their own course, or machine to run, walk or jog.

Participates will also have options on when they would like to compete in the run. You will have from November 26th through November 29th to complete the race on your own. Race results will be uploaded and announced on Monday, November 30 at quincyymca.net

So, you can still keep the tradition going this year by running and feeling great in the morning. Then stuffing your face, the rest of the day, (at least that is what I am going to do). Registration is open and you can register by going to quincyymca.net.

It's nice to see the YMCA keep with the tradition and making the turkey run happen this year, and making some things in 2020 normal. Even though its virtual, families will be able to still get a run in and enjoy the rest of the day together.
