The Dock in Quincy has made the decision to cancel all of the bands they had scheduled for August, here are the details...

With cases of coronavirus on the rise not only in the Tri-States but across the United States, businesses are continuing to make pivots and turns to navigate the uncertainty they face.

The Dock in Quincy has announced on their Facebook page that they are canceling all the bands they had scheduled to perform in the month of August, saying...

"Due to the increase of cases in our community, Dave and I have decided to cancel all of our bands for August. We will still have small events for you to be able to come out with your friends and enjoy the outdoor area and still social distance. We feel this is the best decision for our staff and our customers. Please keep your negative comments to yourself. Respect and support your local small businesses. It has been a tough year for all of us. Be safe out there and keep following us for upcoming events."

I for one think the most important thing The Dock said in their statement is in the final couple sentences, asking everyone to respect their decision, keep negative comments to yourself, and continue to respect and support all these small businesses who have had such a difficult year. I personally love The Dock and will continue to support them and their decision moving forward to do what they feel is best.
