The 29th Annual BUD LIGHT 2-Day Buddy Bass Tournament

If you like to fish, soak up some sun, have a cool drink and have fun, this is the place to be.

For the 29th year, the Annual BUD LIGHT two-day Buddy Bass Tournament is back, Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22 at the Black Jack Marina at Mark Twain Lake. Fishermen from all over come to this to compete. And the thing is, the more who sign up, the bigger the prize money! The two winners of the big bass each day could take home big dollars. And of course, we always have fun with the spectators, who, by the way can sign up to win prizes, as well.

Every year we do this tournament, we think about the man who started it, Thurman Munger. He passed away a couple years ago and we miss him every year. He was a class act.
