Veteran's Day Ceremony

Sunday will mark the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One. With it will come ceremonies all over our great country. One of them will take place at Lippincott Hall at the Illinois Veteran's Home.  The ceremony will take place as 10 a.m. and will end at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

When the opportunity presents itself to thank a veteran, please do. There is no better opportunity to do that locally than going to the Veteran’s Day ceremony at the Illinois Veteran’s Home in Quincy. That ceremony will take place at 10am at Lippencott Hall this Saturday.
