Pearl Harbor

One day, many years ago, this country suffered a surprise attack from a foreign force. About 3,000 lives were lost, and America was never the same.

Please take the five minutes and tell your story about 9-11. The younger generation needs to hear it and more importantly they really need to know it.

Today is June 6, a day that Americans should never forget. It’s D-Day! Seventy-six years ago Allied troops landed to fight Nazi Germany in France.

We all remember 9-11, but time has softened the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. It is an event that we cannot allow Americans to forget.

It was September 11th, 2001, sixteen years ago today. I bet you can tell me exactly what you were doing when you first heard the news of the attack on the United States.

Last Sunday I was stung in the back of the neck by a wasp. It is a wasp that is no longer living thanks to my going into a retaliation mode.  After smacking him with my hand and stomping on him for good measure, Mr. Wasp is no more. The story really began a day earlier.

With each passing year the remembrance of the attack on Pearl Harbor fades away even more. There are fewer survivors with us from the attack that happened 71 years ago today.

It was September 11th, 2001, eleven years ago today. I bet you can tell me exactly what you were doing when you first heard the news of the attack on the United States. I was on the radio with the TV on in the lobby when I first saw what was happening. I was riveted to the TV.
