New Illinois Laws

There will be a new smoking ban for Illinois that goes into effect immediately when smoking in your car.

With the new year upon us, I thought you might like to know of some of the new Illinois laws that went into effect on January 1, 2016.

The year is 1994. You are 17 years old, using your bag cell phone, driving 40 miles an hour on Broadway in Quincy, smoking a cigarette, heading to a tanning place to make your skin golden brown in January. Suddenly, you look in your rear view mirror and there is a police car with its lights on signaling for you to pull over.
