Missouri State Fair

Some have fond memories of something very unique that took place in Sedalia, Missouri in the 1970s. Others would prefer to forget it ever happened. The Ozark Music Festival was held in July 1974 at the Missouri State Fairgrounds, and it was basically the Show-Me State's version of Woodstock. Discounted gate admission and carnival ride wristband tickets are now available for the 2015 Missouri State Fair at Missouri Break Time Convenience Stores, Orscheln Farm and Home Stores and Walgreens.

Tickets to the Missouri State Fair Pepsi Grandstand concert series go on sale starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, through Ticketmaster. Public on sale of all other tickets, including auto races, tractor pulls, State Fair Arena events, and the Governor’s Ham Breakfast, begins with the opening of the Box Office at noon Monday, June 22.

The 2015 Missouri State Fair will take place August 13-23 in Sedalia. Headlining at the State Fair Grandstand on Saturday, August 22 will be The Fray and Andy Grammer.

Attendance at the Illinois and Iowa State Fairs showed declines from the previous year. The main culprit for the decline was rainy weather in the Midwest, which affected several days of the fairs in Springfield and Des Moines.

The county fairs are over, and it is full steam ahead for the State Fairs in Illinois, Iowa and Missouri.  All three State fairs will run concurrently from August 7 through the 17. Here is a rundown of concerts set for the Illinois State Fair in Springfield, the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines and the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia.

Summertime is the perfect time to get out and see a concert. In August, several huge acts will be appearing in our region. From St. Louis and Springfield, to Des Moines and Sedalia during the state fairs, here are some top concerts scheduled for August.

The State Fairs of Illinois, Iowa and Missouri are set with some great entertainment lined up with Toby Keith and Gary Allen fans getting three chances to them in concert at all three Fairs.
