Miss America

Over the weekend, women from all across the country headed out to Florida for the Miss America competition. It is considered one of the largest scholarship programs for young women in the United States.

When you watch the Miss America Competition on ABC Television this coming September there will be something missing from past years. That something is the Swimsuit and Evening Gown competition.

Miss Illinois, Megan Ervin joined us for the Y101 morning show on Tuesday. Megan will be appearing at the Miss Quincy pageant next weekend. She also talked to us about her experiences at the Miss America pageant in January in Las Vegas, and told us all about her red dress, which stole the show.
