For 67 years the Quincy Exchange Club has recognized the “Golden Deeds Award” winner. Well that announcement thanks to the the Coronavirus Crisis has put it on hold.
The Quincy Exchange Club has awarded the 67th edition of the Book of Golden Deeds to Kirk Frageman who for years has volunteered his time for the Mart Heinen Booster Club and Catholic Charities.

Every year the Quincy Exchange Club presents the Golden Deeds Award to a dedicated volunteer who gives endless hours of their time and talents toward making our community a better place to live. That award was presented today to Jack Mackenzie at a noon Golden Deeds Banquet held at the Elks Lodge in Quincy.
The 62nd Annual Quincy Exchange Club Golden Deeds Awards Luncheon was held at the Stoney Creek Inn Friday at noon. The deserved recipient was Patty Adam of Birthright of Quincy.
Friday, I attended the Golden Deeds banquet put on annually by the Quincy Exchange Club. This year’s winner of the Book of Golden Deeds was Hazel Mills. Hazel is, well suffice to say, a senior citizen. Now she may be elderly, but this woman acts and moves about like someone in her 50’s at least.
