I am currently in denial. I have learned that dozens of popular foods are no longer available in Missouri as they have been discontinued. I thought most of these were very popular and I regularly bought several, but I guess I was terribly wrong. Let's see how many of your favorites are now extinct.

Girl Scout cookies are going to have a notorious flavor missing from its lineup next year.

After a 108 year run as The Boy Scouts of America the organization has changed their name to Scouts, BSA.

Today marks the 106th anniversary of the Girl Scouts. On this day in 1912 Juliette Gordon Low registered the Girl Scouts as an official organization. Five years after they organized the first cookies were sold as a fundraiser by the Mistletoe Troop in Oklahoma.

Back on October 11, 2017, the Boy Scouts of America made a monumental shift in their policy regarding who they will allow to become a member of their program when they unanimously approved and announced they would admit girls into Cub Scouting beginning this year (2018).

As part of their annual "April Showers" initiative, Girl Scouts, community members and area organizations are coming together to help people in need.
