Are You Ready For the Autumnal Equinox?
The long, crazy summer of 2013 will finally end Sunday at 3:44 CDT when the Autumnal Equinox arrives. So basically there are only two days when the sun crosses the Equator. One is the Vernal Equinox or first day of spring and the other is the Autumnal Equinox marking the first day of autumn.
Super Moon Means More Crime?
This past weekend gave us the opportunity to view what they call the Super Moon. This full moon was called the Super Moon because the Moon was the closest it will be to Earth this year. The moon was 15,300 miles closer than usual and was only 221,802 miles from Earth last weekend.
