Daylight Donuts

Daylight Donuts and Deters Frozen Custard is officially on the market and I'm really hoping someone buys it so we can have our green donuts for St. Patrick's Day.

Sadly we are saying good-bye to a local favorite in Quincy.

Normally, I would strongly advise against the consumption of green donuts. See, the problem with most green donuts is that they started out as donut-colored donuts, and gradually evolved into green (i.e. non-donut-colored) donuts.

Get your calendars out and make a big orange circle around October 1 (your taste buds will thank you).

The southeast corner of 24th and Broadway in Quincy is taking on a new look as construction crews continue to build the new MedExpress Urgent Care facility. When completed this fall, it will house a 5000 square-foot medical office building featuring 8 examination rooms

Demolition crews began working yesterday to demolish the old Daylight Donuts building at 24th and Broadway and have roped off the adjacent building which used to house The Associated Bank. This coupled with the removal of a building directly east of the Coach House Restaurant is certainly making 24th and Broadway begin to take on another look.
