There is nothing like seeing your favorite artist in concert; the atmosphere, the crowds, the music (of course). But ticket prices can be pretty expensive. Fortunately, one of the the nation's largest ticket retailers is offering you a chance to see some GREAT shows for just 20 bucks!

Some of the winners from the reality competition, now airing its final season, have been more successful than others, but winning is not necessarily required to reach super-stardom. Summertime is the perfect time to get out and see a concert. In August, several huge acts will be appearing in our region. From St. Louis and Springfield, to Des Moines and Sedalia during the state fairs, here are some top concerts scheduled for August.

If you're the type of person that likes to travel around the region for summer concerts, you'll want to know about this one. Entertainment has been announced for the 2014 Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, and The Goo Goo Dolls and Daughtry will both be appearing on Saturday, August 9. They will be joined by the Plain White T's.
