The Advocacy Network for Children has announced several upcoming informational meetings for individuals interested in becoming a CASA volunteer.

Birthday Blessings is a group that works to meet the emotional and physical needs of children in foster care

CASA of Adams County, a program of Advocacy Network for Children, needs volunteers to speak up for the abused and neglected children in the court system.

Currently, there are more than fifty children who are in care of the court who need a CASA Volunteer who can be a voice for these children in court.

Advocacy Network for Children is happy to announce that this year’s recipient of the “Clairice Hetzler Advocacy for Children” award is Sherry Centanni.

The Advocacy Network for Children recently expanded its CASA program in Brown, Cass and Schuyler counties.

Advocacy Network for Children will be holding its first “Superhero Family Fun Challenge” on Saturday, October 15th.  The money raised through this event will help with day-to-day operating costs of the agency which provides advocacy for abused and neglected children in nine West Central Illinois counties.

In honor of April being Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month, Advocacy Network for Children will be holding their second “Koins for Kids” on Monday, April 18th at the corners of 18th & State.  The money raised through this event will help with day-to-day operating costs of Advocacy Network for Children which provides advocacy for abused and neglected children in nine of the counties in W

The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) of Adams County is in need of at least 10 new CASA volunteers.  CASA currently has more than 25 abused and neglected children waiting for a CASA volunteer to speak up for them.  These children desperately need your help to give them hope and be the voice on their behalf.
