Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, this year's Teddy Bear Clinic and the personal interaction between the kids and the student nurses will have to be done virtually this year.

November 20 is Nursing Visit Day for prospective students and families wishing to learn more about the nursing program offered through Quincy University and Blessing Rieman College of Nursing. The day long event is free, though to attend, pre-registration is required. Nursing visit day begins at 9:30 a.m. in Quincy University's Francis Hall. The 27th Annual Teddy Bear Clinic will be held this Sunday afternoon from noon to 3 p.m. at Blessing Hospital's main entrance. As the founder of this event 27 years ago, the staff at Blessing Riemann College of Nursing was kind enough to name one of two new gigantic Teddy Bears after me last year. He is known as the "Dorsey Bear" and the other is known as "Flo" after Florence

A couple of six foot tall stuffed bears will make their first appearance at the Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing’s 26th Annual Teddy Bear Clinic on Sunday, October 5, from Noon to 4 p.m. The Clinic will be held in the Auditorium of Blessing Hospital at 11th Street in Quincy (Hospital main entrance).The new bears are named Flo and Dorsey Brown Bear.
The 25th annual Teddy Bear Clinic was held on Sunday, October 6 at Quincy's Blessing Hospital. Youngsters from all over the area brought their favorite teddy bears, stuffed animals or dolls and went through the health stations set up by the student nurses of Blessing Rieman College of Nursing. Hundreds of kids with smiling faces made their way through the Blessing Hospital doors to the Clinic.
