Stealing Political Signs is Against The Law

It happens every political season. The stealing of political signs from yards and businesses has always intrigued me, especially presidential campaign signs.

Are you really swayed enough by the "Vote Yes" or "Vote No" or the "Trump" or "Biden" signs that seeing them actually determined how you are voting? I surmise you already know how you are voting. So how important are those signs anyway? In a local election, very important.  In a presidential election, not so much. So why are people stealing Trump or Biden signs?

I hope you already realize, doing so could get you arrested.  That's right, Stealing a political sign from a yard or business is illegal and against the law. So why risk it? Even if you do steal it, what will you do with it?

A little know unverified fact is....today you steal signs, tomorrow you will steal a ballot from a mailbox. That means if caught, you will go from a misdemeanor to a felony charge. Gee, then you will be making license plates.
