After receiving approval from the City of St. Louis and the Health Department, the St. Louis Cardinals will be increasing the capacity at Busch Stadium beginning Friday, May 21 (just in time for the Cubbies). This is a big win, and I am so ready to go to the ballpark for a game. Tickets are on sale now and will be spaced a minimum of three feet apart in all directions, allowing Busch Stadium capacity to roughly double.

Plus, tickets to the May 21-23 weekend series vs. the Chicago Cubs at Busch Stadium are on sale now at cardinals.com, with tickets starting as low as $20. Gate times are changing too. Gates will now open two hours before first pitch on Friday - Sunday games and one-and-a-half hours before first pitch on Monday - Thursday games.

You will soon be purchase tickets for a few June home games, which go on sale Friday, May 14 at Noon. Games will include a weekend series vs. the Cincinnati Reds (June 3-6) and the two-game interleague series vs. the Cleveland Indians (June 8-9). Each of the six games will feature one of three different promotional gate giveaways starting with a Cardinals Nolan Arenado Decal from Shelter Insurance on June 3, an Adult Mystery Player Road Alternate Blue Jersey for the games on June 4 - 6 and a Cardinals Bucket Hat on June 8 - 9.

Can't make it to the ballpark? You can listen to all the St. Louis Cardinal Games on News/Talk 1070 KHMO-AM.
